Update on Steve: he got released from hospital on friday. 13 days after transplant a shadyside record for donor transplsnt. I am happy and surprised. I think to soon. He started engrafting on day three and his blood levels in range to come home. We have home nurse, he needs iv meds in addition to the 50 pills he takes over the course of the day. We displaced out of our home. Had basement project that needed done to make it safe for him to come home and with his release at least 20 plus days before expected we could not be in the house. Kids and I would of had to leave also. Contractor said will hzve it fixed and safe to return in 5-7 days. So add to the stress and burden. Steve will go to hillman mon, wed, and fri for quite some time. We ask for continued prayers as steve will need it even more now that he is out. We pray for no germs, diseases and strength to continue on this journey. Hotel is nice. But not home.. I will update again.
