Update on Tom. He is all settled in at MCV in a room nestled - TopicsExpress

Update on Tom. He is all settled in at MCV in a room nestled right next to the nurses station. Not that he will probably appreciate that as much as I do as it might get a little noisy. They have scheduled more tests, taken more blood and asked a whole lot of questions. Still no answers yet, but I have faith that they will get to the bottom of this yet. We were blessed to have had such good care while at Riverside Hospital and thankful for all the staff did for Tom while he was there. They paved the way for MCV to take over and we are so very thankful for that. It is much harder as he is further away, but the good thing is that our son lives in Richmond, so he is able to pop-in much more frequently. The doctors make their rounds at 8:30am, so it will be an early morning for me. I never realized how big a hospital can be. I worked at the Pentagon and it took me about as long to walk from the MCV parking lot to Toms room as it did for me to walk from the parking lot at the Pentagon to my office. I did not realize a hospital could have a shopping mall and several food courts on the inside. And yes, even the visitors have to pay for parking, that is if you can find a parking spot in their enormous parking garage. Thanks for all the offers for help, the cards, the prayers, healing thoughts and just for being there for both Tom and I.
