Update on Truffles...She became very painful in her front feet even with her Softride Boots. Our vet came this morning and we held our breath when she was x-rayed. She was so uncomfortable, our vet nerved her first and everything went well after that. The good news is that she wasnt foundering and she doesnt have Navicular. She even commented that her hooves looked good. We put her boots back on and she walked off completely sound. How she will be after the nerving wears off is another question. So she took blood for IR and changed her meds to Bute instead of Azium and put her on Ventipulmin for her breathing. Keeping our fingers crossed for a good result. I thought we might lose her today but Truffles is a fighter and well be right there with her until she tells us otherwise.
