Update on Wyatt: tests came back and he is having seizure markers/spikes 80% of the time when he is sleeping. They drew lab work his morning and they are able to increase his depakote. We will increase depakote at night and then we go back in a month for another inpatient stay to see if the increase helped. He also has to go back and do some developmental screenings again. They are worried that since his brain is not resting at night his development may fall behind. Denny and I have not noticed any decline but we will see what the experts say. The good news is that depakote is helping, it is keeping the big seizures away and also not letting the markers spread across his brain, it is keeping them on the left side only. Now hopefully the increase will help when he sleeps and he can have some restful nights of sleep again . Thanks again for everyones prayers and support! Dennis Lawson Jr.
