Update on baby Current: Hes off his antibiotics because his white blood cell count is back within normal limits! They are increasing his feeding so he can get off of his IV nutrition. He has not had another C Pap trial because his PH was a little low however they may try again today to challenge him to breathe on his own. His dialysis is still pulling fluid off continuously and his chest drain hole has closed on its own. Chest X-ray showed, no fluid so thats wonderful news! He is now off of isolation because his cultures all came back negative, but we are still limiting visitors because he doesnt need too much exposure, that could potentially make him sick....his BUN and creatinine are better than yesterday which means his kidneys are filtering a little better! We still have a long road ahead of us, but hes making daily progress and thats the most important thing!
