Update on what doctor said today,they had already sent him copies of everything they had and he explained that what he was doing was a second opinion for workers comp.He informed me of what all happen with my hand then he ask me a few questions.After the questions he went out came back with a lil bag of tools and said he wanted to do his own examination,naturally he checked all my reflexs then he took some lil machine and examine both hands.Then he did a exam of his own.When all was done he said you have what is know as RSD ,I see a lot of patients that come in and say they have been diagnosed with RSD and after examing them they dont have it,he said it is very rare can be brought on by a minor injure or a major injury it is just bad luck for the ones that do have it.He said as far as my hand ever working again most likely it will never be fully functional but,if I go back to Southern Orthopedics and do extensive therapy there is a good chance I can get half function.He said he would be sending his report to workers comp today.So when I got back to Lagrange I told my boss what he said and he said send me an e-mail with this and we will see if we can get you away from west ga.rehab and back to southern orthopedics even if it is with a tech till the therapists gets back.So I sent him the e-mail and before I got home he sent me a text that my adjuster had sent him saying John I will check into this immediately,I have to say I have an awesome boss.
