Update. was not running, I took beasties for a walk, came back and started to get ready to leave and when I was ready I found Pando, Gracie and Max proudly sitting next to the entrance door. I thought okay, its cloudy, not too hot ( no one can predict dutch weather), I thought I will take two, but then Pando had that look… So I ended up taking three of them. ( Misa is still not talking to me for that). Normally if I walk I do 5 km per hour with Gracie and Max. But today we did 6 km per hour. Why? Cuz I had Pando with me, he always walks fast,s o basically you are like half running with him. We did 16,3 km in 3 hours and 15 minutes. Including all the stops we made for people to say Woooooow and stroke them =) Bless huskies all over the world for making people happy. I had so much negativity thrown on me recently , but 16 km walk and its like I shook it off myself. It became a regular thing in FB for people to argue with strangers, prove points and that takes hours. Why would we do that? Think about that. For thousands of years we used to earn the food. Meaning we had to cut the woods to keep house clean and be able to cook, we had to work in the fields to have food, we had to collect and store food for winter etc etc etc. Thousands of years we were using our physical strength to be able to survive and live. It all changed in like 100 years, when technologies started to do things for us ( hoover, dishwasher, washing machine and many more), but many people started to spend a lot of mental energy. What happened at the end is brain is tired, but body was sitting the whole day , had no activity. So I think it creates some certain conflict between brain and muscles and can lead to anxiousness. It is simple , same with dogs. We often say tired dog - happy dog. But we are mammals too and we have to have certain lever of physical activities to stay balanced. Every person needs his/her own amount of activities. It can be swimming, biking, running, long walks , work out in the gym, martial arts etc. But I think we all need it, we also all need to get away from civilization and at least few times a week re-unite with nature. Hear sound of the sea, singing birds, see bunnies or cows around… I dont know how, but that puts you mind into a very peaceful state. And this is my baby Pando, the founder of my ability to rescue dogs =D hahahaha. Turning 10 this year, but her did 16 km in a blink of an eye today =)
