Updated map. Seems like the first one had an extra stop in it - we will be driving only 2hrs 45 mins in total. With stops, etc. trips should be about 4.5 hours. Map and trip links are here. Ill have copies at the Saturday meeting - We will start at Grayson BMW immediately after our normal Sat meeting. Well drive to the Dragon (NOT using any freeways), stop at Harley Davidson for a short break just before hitting the Dragon (US 129/115). After just a few minutes into the Dragon, We will pull into the Dragon overlook for the views of Calderwood Dam. We will conquer the Dragon (all 11 miles and 318 curves!!!) . . . at the end of the Dragon just after we cross the NC state line, we will pay a visit to the Deals Gap Motorcycle grill and t-shirt shop. From there we head on down to the Cheoah Dam (just few minutes away) to see the Dam where the film the Fugitve with Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones was filmed. Then we will start for home by getting back on the Dragon again headed to Loudon. Well make a quick stop at McDonalds for a restroom break, then head into Loudon so that all can jump on I75 to go home from there. Hope you can join us! - Tim
