Upper Minneopa Falls Yesterday I drove to Mankato to checkout - TopicsExpress

Upper Minneopa Falls Yesterday I drove to Mankato to checkout some waterfalls. The first stop, Minnemishinona Falls was only a trickle but would be georgeous when flowing heavily. Next was Minneopa State Park, home to Minneopa Falls, a series of waterfalls, consisting of the smaller upper portion and a much larger lower portion. The lower portion was not as interesting to photograph because it is basically one large drop, rather than the many different paths the water takes in the upper waterfall. After Minneopa I attempted to locate Minnewankon falls however a good access point could not be located and when I drove by what I assume is the creek that feeds the fall it appeared to be very low flow currently.
