VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT NASARAWA STATE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION, LAFIA The Nasarawa State Civil Service Commission invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following vacant teaching positions in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Lafia and the Ministry of Justice, Lafia. A. SCHOOL OF NURSING, LAFIA: 1.1 Nurse Tutors 1.2 Psychiatric Nurse Tutors 1.3 Public Health Tutors. B. SCHOOL OF MIDWIFERY, LAFIA: 1.1 Midwife Tutors. C. SPECIALIST TEACHERS: 1.1 Pharmacologist 1.2 Nutritionist 1.3 Computer Scientist 1.4 Laboratory Scientist. D. QUALIFICATIONS: 1.1 Nurse tutors: - MUST have either of the following qualifications:- a) B.SC (Nsg) BNSC with Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or the Nurse tutors Diploma Certificate. 1.2 Psychiatric Nurse Tutors and Public Health Nurse tutors:- MUST have registered Psychiatric Nurse Certificate and Registered Public Health Nurse Certificate respectively. 1.3 MIDWIFE TUTORS:- MUST have the RN/RM Certificate plus BNSC, PGDE or the Midwife Tutors Certificate. 1.4 SPECIALIST TUTORS MUST be holders of BSC degree in their specialty areas. E. All Nurses, Midwifes, Psychiatric Nurse and Public Health Nurse tutors: - MUST hold valid licence to practice. F. MSN will be of added advantage. G. STATE COUNSEL The applicant MUST:- i. Posses L.L.B. Certificate from any recognized University in Nigeria. ii. Posses B.L. He MUST have been called to Nigeria Bar. iii. Posses N.Y.S.C. discharge Certificate iv. Be a person of Unquestionable character and integrity.
