VACATION RENTAL SUPPORTERS: We, the San Diego Vacation Rental Managers Alliance (SDVRMA), are excited to invite you to the La Jolla Planning Committee meeting on November 6, 2014! As involved members of the community, and business members that benefit from the the short-term rental industry, your attendance at this meeting is of the utmost importance. The board will be voting on recommendations regarding short term vacation rentals in La Jolla, which will be finalized and presented to the offices of District 1 City Council representative Sherri Lightner and Mayor Kevin Faulconer. On November 6, you will not only have the opportunity to speak on behalf of our thriving industry, but you will be speaking to the board responsible for voting on the recommendations that will be sent forth to the San Diego Mayors office- recommendations that may ultimately change the citys municipal code and the future operation of short term vacation rentals. The wrong decision could eliminate millions in tourist spending from our community.
