VANCOUVER SUN (early) Saturday Newspaper: LuvnGrace GaGa Afterparty by Malcolm Parry:) CHEEKY CHIC: Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, was still wowing a Rogers Arena audience when opening act Lady Starlight, real name Colleen Martin, attended LuvnGrace impresario Vernard Goud’s fashion party at the Main-off-Hastings Imperial recently. There she saw longtime rock-designer Nancy Perreault show classic-Gaga hot-pink shorts that devolved into cheeky elasticized strips and a brief panel en devant. Two local singers modelled Perreault’s garments and Carolyn Bruce’s skulls-and-roses jewelry. Leeta Liepins, a former Opera Pro Cantati mezzo soprano now with the fledgling Opera Opulenza company, also operates the Lean With Leeta fitness company. Rocker Tracy Weddell, who is back in the saddle after a horse-riding fall, will echo that near-crippling mishap by recording the self-penned Twisted and other dark songs.
