VERDICT: I have the start of a corneal ulcer, which was caused by the frequency of leaving my contacts in for days at a time non-stop over the past year or so. If left untreated I could lose my vision in that eye. For the next 24 hours I have to put antibiotic drops in my eye every 30 minutes....then back to the doc tomorrow to check and move to every hour with the drops. First 24 hours are the most critical.
