VPA Parent Information Nights – August 26th, 27th, and 29th Our Parent Information Nights (PIN) will be held this week. These are the nights that teachers explain to parents the classroom rules, procedures, homework, grading, and testing. In addition, parents will meet in the gym with our new principal, Dale Case, to learn important information about school-wide programs and goals. If you have multiple children at VPA in multiple grades, you only have to attend one meeting in the gym. However, you should attend the various classroom meetings for all your children. You will also be able to pick up test scores from last year, and get directions and passwords to Home Access Center (HAC). HAC allows parents to check student’s grades and attendance online. During PIN nights our parent group, PATHS, will be in the gym selling t-shirts and VPA logo merchandise. PATHS will also be collecting membership forms (attached to this email) and dues donations. All VPA parents are expected to attend on the following nights and times: 1st Grade and Special Education – Monday, August 26th – 5:30 -6:00pm meet in homeroom, 6:00-6:30pm go to gym 2nd Grade – Monday, August 26th – 6:00-6:30pm meet in gym, 6:30-7:00pm go to homeroom 3rd Grade – Thursday, August 29th – 6:00-6:30pm meet in gym, 6:30-7:00pm go to homeroom 4th Grade – Tuesday, August 27th – 5:30-6:00pm meet in homeroom, 6:00-6:30pm go to gym 5th Grade – Thursday, August 29th – 5:30-6:00pm meet in homeroom, 6:00-6:30pm go to gym 6th Grade – Tuesday, August 27th – 6:00-6:30pm meet in gym, 6:30-7:00pm go to homeroom
