VULNERABILITY Being vulnerable often has negativity attached to it. We feel like it means weakness. Nowadays I look at all these negative words and realize we need a balance of the positive and negative. For instance We need to be positive not negative yet realistic. So is the opposite of being vulnerable being vigilant and strong? The prophet told us that the strong believer is better than the weak believer. But i am looking at it from a social point of view... Is it true that we need to be vulnerable to people around us? We need to be vulnerable to our husbands, wives, children and parents? Is the problem many of us have with wanting to be in control cause by our inability to trust others? In order for one to be vulnerable, one needs to believe that those she trusts will handle matters in the best way possible. However in our current times in which people have lost basic morals of trustworthiness and in which we have become so greedy emotionally, for fame and finanically, how does one strike a balance?
