Vale Expects Nickel Prices to Reach $ 20000 In Next Few Years (04 Mar 2014) As per news reports, Vale is expecting the Nickel prices to reach $ 20000 in coming few years. The company expectations are build on the ban in Nickel exports. The company said nickel will also see a significant increase this year. Indonesia has imposed a ban on the export of unprocessed ores in January as the country tries to transform those materials into higher-value products. Meanwhile, the state-controlled Indonesia miner, Antam is expected to see a sharp decline in nickel ore output this year. The company is expected to have 1.44 million tons of nickel ore output.
