Very best of luck to Canalboxinglisburn teammates Kurt Walker 56kg and Jason Mckay 49kg who weight in today for the start of the european championships being hosted in rotterdam.Both lads are in top form as training has went really well for them ,training along side our london olympic heros paddy barnes ,micheal conlon and world number one katie taylor.It doesnt get any better than this and both Kurt and Jason have relished all the hard work they have had to endure in a 2 month training camp.Its not too often that 2 boxers from the same club get picked to represent Ireland at international level but canal have produced these 2 fine athletes who are destined to go right to the top in their chosen field of sport. Best of luck to you both lads but most of all go out give it your all and enjoy every minute of it.The club reconvenes this evening after the summer break (630-720 juniors) and (730-845 seniors)See you all there.
