Via: Captain Paul Watson Sea Shepherd volunteers are working globally to clean up the ocean and beaches. Here is the latest clean-up project by volunteers in New Caledonia. They recently cleaned up a shoreline mangrove. 17 volunteers working 7 hours each in the hot sun. New Caledonia volunteers intend to do many more clean up projects in 2015. Two years ago my crew and I on the Brigitte Bardot collected plastic from one of the Islands in New Caledonia. I left a message in a glass bottle that we had been there and had cleaned the beaches. That message was found by a group of voyagers who spread the word. Much appreciation to all the volunteers in New Caledonia for their efforts to make the ocean and the beaches cleaner. Plastic kills!
