Victims with damaged or destroyed homes in the unincorporated County due to the Cocos Fire now have a place to go for help rebuilding. The County will open a Recovery Liaison Office from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. today (Friday, May 16) at the County Library’s San Marcos branch, located at 2 Civic Center Dr., San Marcos, CA 92069. Starting tomorrow (Saturday, May 17), the office will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The office can offer help on how to obtain building permits, clear ash from swimming pools, safely handle food after a power outage and other recovery and rebuilding information.
