W.P. MIDDLE SCHOOL BETA CLUB BASS TOURNEY SEPT. 28 The West Plains Middle School Beta Club will host the fifth annual Bass Club Tournament Sept. 28 at Lake Norfork. Entries will be taken by mail or starting at 5:30 a.m. the day of the event. Receipt date of entry determines starting position. Take-off will be at Henderson boat ramp, Henderson, Ark. Tournament hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $80 per boat, two-person team, first flight. The first 40 entrants will receive a thank-you bag at registration. First place is $1,000, based on 50 paid entries. One hundred dollars for smallest stringer. For every 10 boats, one place paid. Five dollars of each entry goes to big bass pot. There will be free food and drink for all individuals fishing in the tournament at the end of the day. Following weigh-in there will be the giveaway of various prizes. The tournament is presented by Ozark Jet-a-Pet, Pet Courier Service, with the additional support of local sponsors. Send entries to West Plains Middle School Beta Club, 730 E.
