WANTED TRADE QUALIFIED DIESEL MECHANIC/FITTER (Mobile/Field Position) Pats Diesel Service - Based out of Chinchilla is Seeking a Field Mechanic, PDS is a Family Based Company Servicing many different facets of the Gas Industry. Award Wages Apply , 38 Hour Week plus Overtime, Weekend breakdown and Callouts are on a roster basis. *Must Have Experience/Training with CAT Engines & Field Experience (Will be mostly Servicing, Maintaining, Repairing CAT/Cummings Generators & Pumps and Yanmar & Kabota Generators & Pumps in various Field Locations some remote) *HR Licence Required (or must be able to obtain one before start of job) As Field Mobile Service Trucks Require a HR Licence to Drive them. PDS Vehicles are All fitted with IVMS (Vehicle Tracking System) and only responsible Drivers Need Apply. *Must Have the Ability to comply with Safety regulations (Working Gas Field Level) *Be able to complete relevant Inductions for entry into various gas fields & Have a Good Understanding of Field Paperwork and a diligence to fill it out correctly. Must Be able to work as part of a team and have a good ability *Forklift Ticket a Advantage *Non Smoker Preferred *Mature Age Persons are also encouraged to apply *PDS work Days vary depending on breakdowns and callouts we tend to Generators that run work camps occupied by large numbers of personnel who rely on those generators for all power, there operation is paramount.
