WARNING! Another DV Perp gets away because violence within the family is not considered a crime in the Courts, not taken seriously. This kind of soft treatment of abusers by the Courts emboldens and entitles perpetrators to carry on and ramp up their violence the next time. In this country George Zimmerman was accused of domestic violence repeatedly. He always and without fail blamed the victims of his alleged/reported crimes. Zimmerman arrogance was strengthen by the Courts lenient treatment of him, as women came forward over the years to report his violence against them. Zimmerman felt justified in following Trayvon Martin, even though he was told, to back off, by officials. He was told to leave Trayvon alone and to leave police work to the police. But NO... George Zimmerman, likely a repeat DV Perp was never brought to justice, never held accountable. Power was bestowed on him, he was free to hunt down Trayvon Martin and when Trayvon reacted to man with a gun, Zimmerman was free, within our society to kill Trayvon. What did Zimmerman do? He blamed an innocent, unarmed victim. Domestic Violence ignored leads to some of the worst crimes immaginable. Josh Powell, Stephan Garcia, Russell Scott Goldberg, Mr. Samman, Michael Connelly, Simon Gonzales, Scott Dekraai, just to name a few.
