WATER MAIN BREAK: A water main break was reported on Virginia Avenue in Hagerstown today. Officials said it happened on the 24th transmission main, near Governor Lane Boulevard. The citys Water Division has four to five workers on the scene, who are expected to work until 10 p.m. to repair the main. Residents in the area were advised that they may have low water pressure, and some water discoloration. However, officials said the water is not contaminated and is safe to use.
