WCHE NEWS - Downingtown Borough council will vote this week to reestablish its historical and parks commission as two separate entities. Council woman, and one of the organizers of the proposed commissions, Patricia McGlone told WCHE News the commissions will consist of volunteer committees that will make recommendations to commissioners. Each commission would have authority over projects, and resources. If the ordinance to establish the commissions is passed, Council will advertise for commission and committee members. Councilwoman Ann Feldman told WCHE News that the proposed commissions do not adequately represent the interests of borough citizens. Follow @FrankWCHE for all the latest news and information.
