WE ALL FROM THE SAME FAMILY. We are Family, we have all our Sisters and Brothers with Me. A thought for Rachid Kostali, a Men of 7 Seas who recently passed away. Rachid is the Brother of another Brother of us here in the USA. Rachid was a gentle in all the senses of the word and around the world, he introduced me and share with me a wonderful time while I was visiting Morocco to establish connections and trade contacts prior to the signing of the Free Trade Agreement between the United States and Morocco. My voyage to Morocco and the subsequent contacts and meetings I had in many Moroccan cities had the intent to prepare the Moroccan companies and Entrepreneurs to understand the US trade principles and rules and the expectations of the US traders. A responsibility that given to me by the East Bay Center for International Trade Development hosted by the Peralta Community College District in Berkeley/Oakland, California I choose the food industry and its organic and natural production with the intention also to enable Moroccan importers to access quality products that can feed Moroccan and not harm their diet or health. At the trade show in Casablanca organized by the US Embassy, the USDA and the US State Department, I had also the privilege to enjoy the presence and the participation of Bouafi Nora and Omar Cherkami who provided me with an outstanding logistical support and services. After the trade show, I met with Rachid Kostali in Rabat. Bouazza Kostali who gave me in California Rachids contact information. For the next 2 weeks, Rachid Kostali was my Right Key who opened additional doors for me in Morocco. More importantly, I was delighted to discover that I shared with Rachid Kostali the same tread of connections to this world, in his own path with elegance, Rachid has also crossed many horizons and traveled literally through many waves of the oceans, he was part of the Moroccan Navy and like myself, he grew up in France. So between our respective itinerary around the shores of this life, we found that we have visited and lived in many ports around all the 7 Seas while in the same fashion we have kept our Port dAttache on the Atlantic Face of Morocco. Additionally, Rachid Kostali made me rediscover again that Morocco has still maintained the quality of Hospitality that I use to receive from unknown families when I lived in Morocco and how I lived and continue to live it within my own Family. For this reason, I am dedicating the following song to the Memory of Rachid Kostali: We ARE FAMILY BY THE SISTER SLEDGE. The Kostali are a predominant Family of the Zaers Region with Ancestors that have shaped the outlook and the Devenir of that Moroccan Region and beyond its territorial and tribal space and borders. We present here our sincere condoleances and sympathy for such departure before the time of encounters. Ina li lihi wa ina ilahi Rajioune. Soubhana Allahi ladi la Yamout, Rahima allaho Rachid and tagatahou bi rahmatih. youtube/watch?v=oMVe_HcyP9Y
