WE ARE UNITED STATES MARINES AND WE ARE HERE TO HELP! But if this mission will be a success, we need your help! I am Bob Brown, owner of Pilgrims Pride Lawn Care. I am also a veteran of The United States Marine Corps and an active member in The Marine Corps League detachment 1306 from right here in Plymouth. Each year our league works with the Marine Corps Reserve, active duty Marines and many of the other veterans organizations from our area to promote and insure the success of the Toys for Tots Program. We begin in October and continue through the Christmas season. This year I am reaching out to everyone in our entire community to consider making some donation. Whether it is a new unwrapped toy or perhaps a few dollars donated to this truly worthwhile cause. Now I know all you aunts, uncles, and grandparents can picture your favorite little one right now. Picture them waking up on Christmas morning with nothing more than a wish that maybe Santa will remember them next year. And you moms and dads, should I even go there? For many young ones in our community this may be a sad reality. Santa didn’t come. I know times are tough. I’ve got four kids of my own. Each of them has a special wish for Christmas morning. Where will it come from? We all need to band together. We need to do what is right, because it is right. So here is what I have in mind. If you will have the heart to make a childs Christmas a little brighter by buying an unwrapped toy, I will gladly come to your home and see that your gift is properly delivered. Especially for next year. But it really is never a bad time to plan for your landscape needs. I will offer that amount as well as a significant discount to those who chose to prepay those services.
