WE MADE THE CHOICE LONG AGO...NOT TO BE A CONGO, BELIZE, BANGLADESH. CUBA. AFGHANISTAN. WE WANTED BETTER AND WE CREATED A DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY BUILT ON PRINCIPLES, EQUALITY, FREEDOMS, VISION...AND A TOUCH PEOPLE WHO HAVE MADE SURE (UNTIL NOW) THAT AMERICA STAYED THE LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD. (until now). BUT... WE SHOULD NEVER ALLOW THIS ONCE GREAT COUNTRY TO DESCEND (further) INTO FILTH. TRULY FILTH. Diseased politics, diseased people, dead and decaying Ideals. WE USED TO HAVE THOSE. IDEALS, WE HAD THE VISION THAT GAVE US SO MUCH. Cars, planes, TV, the Internet, Superhighways and supersized everything. WE USED TO DREAM, we Americans. WE LED THE ENTIRE PLANET in dreaming dreams...and then making them come true. Aviation, technology, wonders of literature and art... ALL BECAUSE WE AS A NATION DARED TO REACH OUT AND TOUCH THE FUTURE, REACH IN AND TOUCH OURSELVES...AND THEN SHARE WITH THE REST OF THE WORLD. WHY CANNOT WE DO THAT AGAIN? WHY?
