WE THE PEOPLE, correct me if I am wrong, but, it does say that somewhere, doesnt it.? What is happening to our country? What happened to the three branches of government that allows for checks and balances to keep one party or faction from running rough shod over our nation? Who in their right minds allowed the man or woman we freely elected as head of the country to be able to sign a statement that enables him or her to subvert and or circumvent our constitution and make their own rules to suit their political agenda. How can one man rule over a branch of the government with such an iron fist that he can decide what legislation will be brought to the floor of the senate or congress for deliberation and voted upon, but, because it doesnt fit his parties political agenda, he can just say no and thats it. Why is it that our votes really dont mean anything. The Electoral College can choose whomever they want to be president. We put them into office, why is it so that we cant vote to remove them from office by vote and not have to wait for their terms to expire, states have that right, why cant we do it for the federal elections. THEY MAKE THEIR OWN RULES, thats why. Did you know that our constitution allows for the states to convene a constitutional convention to amend our constitution, it just requires a certain number of states willing to do it. I believe it is 23. We are witnessing the destruction of America, it started when the people allowed our government to take us off of the gold standard that backed our money and create the Federal Reserve, a private business run by foreign banks, not a government agency, and allowed them to circumvent the Constitution taking away the power of the purse from Congress and let them create fiat money, worthless paper. America, we need to stop these people, Obamacare is just the latest grab for power and it wont end there. It makes me so sad to think that my children and grandchildren will never know the America I grew up in and will be burdened with so much debt that they will never know what it is like to live in a free society and make a decent living, if our country even continues to exist.
