A MESSAGE FROM DR DAVID PASCOE PLEASE WATCH THIS VIDEO OF DR CHRIS DAVIS. IT ONLY TAKES 15 SECONDS - AND IT TELLS YOU THE TRUTH. Everyone, Politics is not a pretty business - especially the current political campaign in Queensland. What is at stake, however, is our very way of life, and most importantly, our right to freedom of speech. Note how quick the politicians were to sue Alan Jones over remarks he has made about political donations - yet these are the very same remarks he has been making for the last year or so on Sydney and regional network radio right across Australia. These questions regarding political donations have been raised by countless other organisations as well - but not a word from the politicians until yesterday when they went after the high profile scalp of Jones. The catch is that this time Jones comments are going direct into the important political seats around Brisbane and the people are now hearing it for the first time - and they are utterly outraged. It seems that the Courier Mail and the Sunday Mail - along with the commercial television networks - are close to the Government and have failed to tell them the truth about what is really happening to Queensland - and especially regional areas and the bush. There has been no honest, brave campaigning journalism anywhere with the exception of Alan Jones, who has bravely stood up as a born and bred Queenslander and told our people the truth. There has been no mention anywhere about the bullying and abuse of our farmers by government, miners and banks, no mention anywhere about the true extent of the destruction of our prime farmland, the appalling destruction and giving away of our water - free to miners and expensive for every other Queenslander - and in a state thats broke, when in fact everyone should be pulling their weight. Everyones water is either regulated and costed like farmers - or simply charged out to the general public. Miners not only get it for free - they can use as much as they like. Beyond all of this, however, is the very real threat to our freedom of speech: suddenly the brave, gutsy funny Queensland we knew and loved has been shut down and silenced by bullying and muzzling. Dr Davis is a man of great integrity, and he felt compelled to make this video clip with the Wilderness Society, exactly the same as we have tried to use this humble Facebook page to expose what we know to be true. As Queenslanders, we believe we need to listen to this mans message and compare that to the spin that we are hearing from the LNP Government. We need to decide in our own hearts what direction we the voters want our state to take next Saturday - and we need to make it now. regards, David
