WHAT a day! After cleaning up poor Christina from her 5 am stomach flu, I went outside for air. A lone bird sat on the neighbors phone line, singing away. He then flew right over my head and then perched again on the neighbors rooftop and began singing. Michael had a thing for birds...talked about them ALL the time. :) Accompanied my Aunt Becky to Clancy-Gernon today so she could say goodbye to Michael. They were so kind to arrange a private visit for her as she cannot make the services next weekend. He looked like he was sleeping peacefully. . . although we all know he is laughing, dancing and playing in heaven. The service plans are coming along nicely. His obituary will run tomorrow and Wednesday in paper. Again, Friday, April 11 visitation 4-8 at Bourbonnais Clancy-Gernon and funeral Saturday, April 12 at 1:00 pm at Clancy-Gernon. A luncheon will follow at Knights of Columbus in Kankakee. Still trying to catch some quiet time to read posts....and shall...thank you, all.
