WHEN THE PROMISES are MIXED WITH FAITH...... .......for as long,then as dat promise of resting in Him pulls us on to God s goal for us, we need to b careful dat we r not disqualified. we received d same promises as those people in d wilderness, buh d promises ddnt do dem a bit of good bxos dey ddnt receive d promises wt faith..if we believe, though, we ll exprience dat state of RESTING. buh not if we dnt v FAITH! Remmber God said, exasperated,i vowed, they ll neva get to whr they r going, neva b able to sitdown n rest.. God made dat vow, even though He fnshed His part. bfore d foundation of d world. somewher it s writen God rested on d seventh day, having competed His wok, buh in this other text He says they ll neva b able to sitdown n rest so dis promise has nt yet been fulfilled. Thos earlier ones ddnt get to rest bcos of disobedience. And God keeps RENEWING THE PROMISE AND SETTING DATE AS TODAY! jus as He did in Davids time... pls dont turn deaf ears buh listen this s still a live promise. it wasnt canceled in Joshuas time ortherwise God wouldnt keep renewing the appointment fr today The promise of arrival n rest is still there fr Gods people. God Himsef is at rest. n at d end we ll surely rest wt Him. so lets kip at it n eventually arrive at the place of REST n not dropout thru some sort of disobedience God means wat He says, wat He says goes....His powerful word is as sharp as a surgeon scarpel cuttin thru everything weda doubt or defense laying us open to listen n obey. nothing n no one is impervius of Gods word. we cnt get away frm it. no matter wat....:(.......
