WHERE IS THE LOVE IN OUR PUBLIC DISCOURSE? Bobby Kennedy, Martin Luther King and Gandhi put love in the center of the public square. They all believed and taught all people are equally worthy. Reverend Martin Luther King, 1967 Noble Peace Prize winner, said American is the great purveyor of violence in the world. The U.S. is mired down in racism, poverty and militarism and there is a price to pay for not paying attention to the truth of its ills. In the last year of his life MLK was rethinking his I Have A Dream speech and said My dream has turned into a nightmare & I believed we are integrating into a burning house.
