WHICH WAY IS BETTER?? A few months back, we had a heated debate with my colleagues here who were not in for a collaborative approach. the issue was whether to cooperate with the police for the opposition to hold rallies or to continue with the confrontation approach that had a huge cost on the tax payer and was not letting the opposition speak to the masses. In the last few weeks, the opposition and civil society has cooperated and held meetings all over effectively delivering their message to the people. Now my colleagues who called me names and almost said I was getting part of the 4 million, what can you say now? Isnt this the best approach where people are getting to listen and understand the reforms that are being suggested? would you rather be on the streets fighting police or having police to protect you as you pass on the message? I think this is another reform.
