WILL YOU NOT DENY JESUS? Now Peter sat without in the palace:and a damsel came unto him,saying,Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee. But he denied before them all,sayying,I know not what thou sayest. And when he was gone out into porch,another maid saw him,and said unto them that were,This felllow was with Jesus of Nazareth. And again he denied with an oath,I do not know the man. And after a while came unto him they that stood by,and said to Peter,Surely thou also art one of them;for thy speech bewrayth thee. Then began he to curse and to swear,saying,I knoe not the man.And immediately the cock crew(matthew26:69-74). Are you not going to deny Jesus Christ as Peter did? Remember Peter was so brave and courageous when Christ told them that tonight many of you will be offended because of me,he said though all men be offended because of thee,i will never be offended(matthew26:32-33). You too are making noise now,that nothing can make you deny Jesus,even at the point of death,you will still stand for Christ. When Peter saw that Jesus was leading away without doing anything,he then realised that if my Oga cannot do anything,i dont think i can withstand the situation,when the presecution come will you stand for Christ or you will deny Him? You are boasting noe that if fire is burning you will follow Jesus,those that are in north can testify a little about what persecution is,if you see gun will you not compromise? I know you are saying,i cannot,Peter boast than you,but when he saw that Jesus did not help Himself,peter find a way out and forget all his word and boasting. You that your father said if you go to church next week,you will bear your feeding and school fees,and because of that you forget what is call church,you dont even remember the day of the Lord again,you too is making mouth now that i stand for Christ alone. Will you not deny Jesus when the wind of this world started blowing mightily? Peter was so courageous to tell Jesus that,if you are the Christ command me to come to you,and Jesus said come,but when the wind started he lost his faith(matthew14:28-31). You that preach Christ everytime now,if persecution should rise today,will you be able to proclaim the name of Jesus again? Can you still dress like a christian when the things turn upside down,when they will smite the shepherd?when your pastor will be led away with gun and sword,will you still say you are the follower of Jesus? Examine your life today whether ye be in the faith of Christ. In everything rmember,no grace after grave(hebrew9:27,ecclasiates9:10).
