WOOOW! I was out on my front checking on my newly fixed gutter. I was holding my cell phone up with its flashlight app going strong . . And the about a block and a half up the hill a tremendously bright flash an simultaneously one of the loudest explosion I have ever heard. I even felt the pressure on my body and through my cell phone followed by involuntarily violently body jerk to protect my self . . almost launching my cell phone into the street. I ran upstairs to share with my sweet lady this terrifying experience. She was standing our bedroom window gazing out into the darkness. While we were sharing about what just happened. A second lightning strike a couple blocks south of of our house with an equally as bright & loud presentation as the first lightning strike. I was always told that the lighting & thunder was the Angels bowling in Heaven. They must be very upset because they are throwing their balls at us!
