WORLD AIDS DAY 2014 Today the embassy commemorates World AIDS Day 2014 –closing the gap. The embassy expresses its support to efforts aiming at empowering and enabling all people, everywhere, to access the services they need. On Friday 28 November, Lina Währner Second Secretary at the embassy, together with colleagues from Sida HQ attended the yearly World AIDS Day commemoration at Mashambanzou Care Trust. The organization provides holistic HIV/Aids services, and is supported by Sweden since 2002. During the commemoration, a graduation ceremony for children from the Nenyere Day Care Centre was held. The centre is supported by Sweden under the Mashambanzou program. It provides day care services and education for vulnerable children.
