WOW! Fascinating to me for a few reasons. #1 the idea of looking at a simpler brain controlling a simpler organism is a super smart way to understand our much more complex system. #2 its really encouraging to me to know that there is at least this ONE place out there doing research that is the kind of discovery and curiosity motivated research that used to be more common. Im not kidding myself that there arent profit motives SOMEWHERE in there (with that kind of money involved Im not sure it would be possible or even desirable to have zero profit motives) but I love ideal! youtu.be/FpE9hFJWA8k P.S.
