WOW.....I LOVE straight-shooters. (Theres a shocker.) I, too, tire of people who insist that autism is so awesome!! in their quest to ignore reality through political correctness. My child IS awesome...but autism is not. My child is awesome for overcoming so many adversities and being able to function through sensory hell that is actually painful. I am forever grateful to all the amazing teachers and therapists who have helped my child be happy and grow toward their fullest potential. There is no way possible for me to EVER repay what you have done for me and my children. Thank you.
