WOW! Who would think that simple photos of a LARGE score board that is doing something positive for the Yellow Jacket Booster Club @ North Augusta High School would generate such conversations. Two men had a vision. A vision that would bring good to ALL athletics at NAHS! The North Augusta Yellow Jacket Club benefits ALL sports @ the high school. This score board is HUGE, not just in size but what it can and WILL do for ALL athletics at NAHS. These two men DO NOT even have kids @ NAHS…they are alumni that want to do good for the school and the community of North Augusta. How I see it, is this photo is what it is all about! The kids, the school and the community. A community that is TOGETHER AS 1! People came out last night to support “our kids”: the cheerleaders, the Jacket Regiment, the football team, the coaches, and yes to see a large scoreboard. If you have kids in athletics…then come to a booster meeting and be active. There are many ways to serve and help NAYJC. You can volunteer to serve drinks at the football games, help plan the upcoming golf outing, help plan the upcoming steak supper…..and much much more!!!! There are 100’s of student athletes at NAHS….and there is an AVERAGE of 8 …… yes EIGHT people that show up at the booster meetings each month. (and 4 of them do not even have kids playing NAHS sports anymore) WHERE ARE YOU????
