Waitara High School is hosting the 2014 Whakapiki Ake Regional Hui-a-Rohe on Monday 15th September. The function will be held in the school hall, starting at 6:30pm. Whakapiki Ake is a University of Auckland programme which recruits, supports and provides rangatahi with opportunities for health careers. All Maori students (Years 9 through 13), plus their whanau, are invited to attend for a kai and some interesting, inspiring information about how students can best prepare themselves for careers in health. Because this function will be catered, it is important that you RSVP as soon as possible, by contacting Jan Steenson, Careers, at Waitara High School, 06-754-7514 ext. 716, or email [email protected].
