Walked in to an electrical shop in Taipan yesterday night. I roaming around the shop for more than ten minutes. No sales rep came to approach or attend to me. It wasnt a busy night after all. One was busy entertaining a customer who looking at a big LED screen TV. Few of them were pretending busy? But, someone, particularly drawn my attention since i stepped into the shop. Hmm, she is extremely busy with her phone. Just pondering if shr is dealing millions sales? Finally, i walked to the counter and approached one of the sales guy. The first thing he asked, "has anyone attended to you?" My reply to him..no. Immediately, he apologized and attended to me. Within 20 mins, he has sealed up a sales worth RM1040.00 before end of business hours. Not much but better than nothing, isnt it? I was impressed by this helpful young guy. Ahead, he will be getting a bigger deal from me. To those sales rep who like to pick and choose, this is a good lesson to learn. In business, we emphasize building strong rapport and long term biz relationship through excellence CS. We see long term not short. This is just my three cents thought..
