Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. Apart from Christ there is no bearing good fruit, no glorifying God, no authentic love, and no entrance into relationship with God our Father. We are desperately and utterly dependent upon Christ for any power, salvation, forgiveness, redemption, revelation, or repentance working in and through our lives. Jesus is everything, He is our gate, our way, our truth, and our very lives. Missing Jesus means missing everything. If you believe you are living in service to God, yet do not believe in Jesus Christ, you are living a lie! Righteousness is in Christ alone.
