Wanna know what happened at the meeting at WMC on Friday? Read on: The RBCG Committee met with staff from the Trees and Parks Dept. There have been submissions from Landscape Architects for the RBCG design & layout. These designs included incorporating the "mound" into the design and have fancy terraced gardens. Unfortunately these designs came with an estimated whopping $700k+ ! Crikey! Back to the drawing board! The great news from this is WMC are now looking into removing the "Mound" altogether and fencing the site. This is fabulous because we can start carte blanche. A blank canvas. Just the way we like it! So...what happens next? WMC will seek costings for the removal and disposal of the "Mound" which is simply debris from the 2002 hailstorms. We will stay in touch with Council and report back news as we find it!
