Wanna know why we are called Mialisia (pronounced mee-uh-lee-see-uh)? 4+ yrs ago...our Founder, Annelise Brown, was a stay at home mother of 4 boys. She always wanted a girl too. Their first daughter was going to be named after Annelises grandma (Alisia). But that 5th child never happened. Her husband, Sean, happened to live in Italy for 2 years serving a Christian church mission. So they decided to name their company... My Alisia...or in Italian...mi alisia. Annelise felt like the birth of her new company was like a new family member to them...like the daughter they never had.
