Wanted to let you all know that Marcella has been having a rough go at this last month. She is full of infection, spend a few days in the hospital and then 3 wks at the Payette Care Center. She wanted to come home so arrangements were made to bring her back home. All 3 of her children, Janice, Jimmy & Jerry were here to be with her. Friday was a bad day, however Saturday she was showing remarkable signs of improvement as the swelling in her body is beginning to go down, her color is much improved and she has an appetite for the first time in weeks. Plus she is far more alert and able to carry on conversations, joke with us and even an occasional bad words come out. Jerry had to leave Saturday afternoon to return Hisako (his wife) to there home in Washougal, Wa. which is near sea level, with her lung disease the altitude and heat in Payette is just too much. Thank you all for all of your thoughts and prayers for Mom during this hard time and also for my Sister Jan as she lost her husband (Arnie on the 15th of this month). We know that with the prayers, returning home and having her children there with her have helped mother begin to heal. thank you all again, Jerry & Hisako (Washougal, Wa.) Jim D.
