Wanting to make a slow cooker lasange. Does this sound right? Layer of dry pasta sheets, layer of mince with tomato pasta sauce, tomato paste, a tin of diced tomatoes, diced mushrooms, garlic, diced onion and grated carrot. Im going to precook the mince and veg. Layer of cheese sauce. Repeat til done, then finish with a layer of meat mix and cheese on top. Can someone please give me a good, flavoursome cheese sauce for this? Also, do I line my slow cooker with baking paper beforehand? And I read somewhere on here about leaving the lasagne to sit for half an hour after cooking, so it doesnt fall apart? Is that correct? Its my first time ever cooking a lasagne, and I want it to be really good. Tia!
