You cannot claim to love God when all you think each day is me, me, me. 1st John 4 vs 7-8 - beloved let us love one another , for love is of God and everyone that Loveth is born of God and knoweth God. He that Loveth not knoweth not God for God is love. The bible teaches us that even evil people love their own also . It does not have to be me, my husband and children all the time. Rejoice with people when they rejoice and when they are promoted wish them well and be genuinely happy for them. Feel peoples pain and grief when they hurt rather than celebrating their failure and wishing them even worse. Be kind and compassionate with people whether you are gaining from them or not. When people announce their promotion to you, what is your first reaction? Do you change your countenance instantly or try to find reasons in your heart why you think they do not deserve anything good.? Do you always wish that other peoples blessings should be added to yours? Envy and rivalry is definitely not of God. Remember it was when lucifer became envious that he instantly turned himself into Gods arch enemy. Tell yourself that each time you are envious of your friends, your work colleagues or your family members or neighbours, you are portraying that lucifer quality in you. Reject it , dont be like lucifer Make changes today. When you celebrate others , God sees your heart and also promotes you. Wishing others well also makes you enjoy a lot of inner peace within. Dont be an enemy of progress by wishing people evil. God is watching you and does not need your permission to bless anyone anyway. ! Spread the love of God that people may see Christ in you and glorify your father who is in heaven. Be Christlike in all you do . Be inspired !
