Warmer Weather Heading for the Island Hot August nights have been few and far between on the island, but it looks like things are finally turning around - at least for the next few days. It began warming up on the west coast yesterday, and today the good weather will reach the eastern half of the island, including Metro. Parts of Labrador hit 30 degrees yesterday but temperatures could dip to close to zero in the Big Land by early tomorrow morning.
