*Warning- BBQing a sacred cow* Heres why my husband and I chose to leave the church of my husbands youth and heritage.( The church he grew up in as a preachers kid.) The 3 main reasons being the attempt to oppress the Holy Spirit, women & musical instruments in worship& in general. You cant read the book of Acts and say thats not for today, unless youre being influenced by the wrong spirit behind these man made traditions. This 8 minute clip addresses the false teaching about women keeping silent in church. Music- King David, a musician, was a man after Gods own heart! It is a true gift from the Lord to have the ability to play a musical instrument. Oh, but its a sin to allow women to pray over men or preach, or anyone be allowed to play an instrument in the sanctuary. Well, I think its a sin to not allow someone to use ANY true gift from God to worship the Lord with. I mean no offense to anyone. Jesus came to set the captives free of the old law, not set more regulations on His Church. I pray as you watch this video clip, that you are set free of wrong thinking and the spirit of oppression, in Jesus name!! All of us like sheep have gone astray. How do sheep go astray? They watch each other rears and hope there is a shepherd up front! Its time to learn to think for yourself! #kvm
