Warning signs that your partner is abusive they were “in love” with you after only a few days or weeks of dating they need you to constantly check in with them so they know everything you’re doing they ask you not to go certain places, wear certain things or talk to certain people they do not want you to go anywhere without them they isolate you from your friends or family they suffer from EXTREME jealously, often to the point of being delusional (for example, they are so paranoid that they believe you will flirt with the cashier, your waiter..any human being that you contact) they make rude comments about how you dress and want you to cover up or not wear makeup they accuse you constantly of cheating or lying when you haven’t done anything they get violent and have angry outbursts they put you down or tell you that they are the best you’ll ever have they cry, break down, plead, or threaten suicide if you want to break up they show up at your house uninvited they constantly call or text you, sometimes to the point of harassment they have gotten physical with you please be smart and recognize these signs! abusers tend to get worse as time goes on, but there is hope to get out of relationships like this.
